The The show of sweet dates takes place every October, few days after the dates harvest season,  in Eerfoud village in south-eastern Sahara of Morocco. The south East of Morocco (called also Tafilalt) has the largest oasis of palm trees in Morocco. Sweet dates play an important role in Moroccan Meals and Moroccan culture. The annual Date Feast in the city demonstrates exactly how highly palm trees and its dates are valued and regarded by local people mainly farmers, date associations, and government.  Starting your day with the dates' sweetness makes your day good and lucky because they are culturally associated with goodness and good luck, for this reason, they are good traditional gifts at important ceremonies, and offering to friends or serving to guests. Many Festivities are held for the harvest-season festival including traditional displays of  folklore music and dance.
