Asilah (or Arzila: Portuguese name) is a dazzling Moroccan town on the Atlantic ocean. Asilah’s history, astonishing beaches, friendly people, and white houses with blue and green doors have made it a preferable tourist destination in Morocco for thousands of tourists looking for exotic and luxurious places.
The town of Asilah has marvelous historical monuments to visit as Qourikia watchtower, Rissouni kasser (kasbah), Bab Kasbah (Kasbah gate) and rampart walls decorated with paintings and drawings of different artists. As you can visit mausoleum of Ahmed Mansour, and shop traditional hand-made products from the souk of the town. A festival of Arts and culture is also held every July/August in Asilah.
